Tonight, the President is expected to announce a set of executive actions on immigration that will extend protections to up to 5 million illegal immigrants. I think thats wrong. By acting unilaterally, the President is damaging the prospects of reaching a long-term solution to this serious problem. As Republicans take the majority in Congress, we should work together to find ways to push back on these actions while fulfilling our obligation to the American people to govern.
