Tonight was a bittersweet night. Our precious daughter got us tickets to Phantom of the Opera for our 20th anniversary. The memories of this show are intertwined in love and sadness. I am so grateful that I share and have shared my life with some of the brightest stars in the universe. As Larz Hoskins and I watched this show 20 years ago, that night we created a tiny human, our oldest son, our Christian. He never failed, from that moment on, to allow his light to shine. As I watched this show, I cried endless tears. Not only because its a tragic love story, but also because this play has come full circle in my life - so that 20 years later I am left wishing he were somehow here again. Ive been left wishing that for 49 weeks now. So beautiful, so tragic...
