Tonight was necessary. I had second doubts about leaving, a bad feeling and a glimpse of flashing lights in my head. I bit the bullet and I left with this uneasy feeling.The rain stopped and as I walked past a wooded area with the constant and loud chatter of insects dancing through the night my feet began to sink into mud I fought through and continued on; but I do feel like it was here that I began my trance like state. The thought of sinking into the Black Earth Into their realm darted across my mind faintly, I continued on. My fear was then realized a police car passed me and with previous experiences (and the flash of lights I saw in my head before leaving) I was sure he was to turn around and stop me. He continued on but actually turned down the road the graveyard was on and that in itself sent a shiver down my spine for the reason that I have seen them use this graveyard as a speed trap but not recently. As I turned down the road nothing was near The air felt empty and I made payment and entered the graveyard. I walked aimlessly letting the dead guide my path I guess. I found an outdoor mausoleum where I set up in front of the deceased.every time I tried to light the candle a gust of wind blew out my lighter. It dawned on me that tonight I was to be accompanied by no one not even light I was to face myself.(it had began to rain once more) I anointed myself with an oil of Death and began to meditate It seemed difficult to open up tonight oddly enough but it was my own mind keeping me distracted. when I did I heard A single voice that said Turn around I did this and saw something amazing it was not a spirit it was not a demon but it was the vision of the dead placed upon my own eyes. I looked in awe as to how everything seemed so slow and timeless yet so fast it was the same graveyard, the same trees, plots, etc. but I could not describe how everything looked but I saw multiple hues within the air, mostly a rustic orange. Everything seemed so infinite and finite as well. It was here sitting in between the veil I asked How I can solve the issues I was going through (mainly a motivation and the lack there of) and Then spirit gave me the message you have already proven you can break from this. You are here even against the odds even against your gut you stand here fearlessly among the dead. You are ready At this time I felt it necessary to collect some dirt and they dead led my feet to graves who were more than willing to contribute some of themselves so to speak( rain brings up the minerals of the decomposed bodys to the topsoil) I collected this and left and as I walked back the rain had ceased once more. The same police car driven passed once more and had not stopped (I was very happy by that) The Idea that this experience was a baptism of sorts crossed my mind another form of death entering my life another phase. A Short time after that thought 3 deer had decided to cross the road directly in front of me I was pretty shocked at how unnerved they were to how close I was (I took this as a good sign of what had happened in the graveyard.) I made it home safely and for the first time in a while I feel like myself again. clear in mind. And that Was my Halloween Night.
