Tonight we had a lot of fun hitting balls off a tee and working on our batting mechanics. Everybody mastered their footwork and made sure they set up correctly and made the short step (for weight transfer) toward the ball, before hitting it. We also did a 2nd base fielding drill in pairs which paid dividends in tonights game where they made a LOT of outs at 2nd just by putting the drill into practice. Next week is half term so there will be no session, but well be back again on November 6th. In the meantime look out for a newsletter arriving in your inbox soon!
