Tonight we have sent some balloons up to Paul sent on wings of love to high up above. The wind carried them away as quick as Paul used to run I imagined his voice saying well done mum. Trying to keep hold of the balloons and take a selfie at the same time proved a challenge but up they went scattering love as they went.. Thankyou to everyone who has remembered Pauls birthday today I hope you thought of him with a smile he was a kind boy who just tried his best and forgave the rest. Last year he gently shook me awake at 6.00 then woke jack and his dad up with a megaphone. I watched the balloons disappear and remembered him in my arms sleeping. In this uncertain and sometimes cruel world that we live in we need to appreciate who and what we have and enjoy rather than regret what we havent and never will xx
