Tonight, we just welcomed our 735th member and it really hit me how gratifying it has been to see so many former employees, listeners and, admirers of WGH come together to recall One of the Souths Great Radio Stations! Names that youll see often here are Jeanie Lankes, Dale Parsons, Tim Parsons, Bill Jordan, Steve Silsby, Jim Stewart and, a man who acts as curator and proctor, Chris Astle Jr. Im leaving some names out that I shouldnt but, one name that I MUST include was there for WGHs heyday as a Top 40 outlet and, is one of the owners of WGH today, the great Gene Loving. I started this thing one night, on a whim, to see how many of us WGH vets were still out here. The response has been overwhelming... Thank you, one and all but, Thanks, especially, to our most prolific contributors, the people I singled out in the previous paragraph. Without a doubt, we will never forget, WGH, in Old Virginia!
