Tonight were going to highlight Katie Richard, a Vee Rubber support rider who has been doing very well this season in both the NETRA series (a consistent placer in the top 10 the last few weeks in the c200 class!) and the JDay events. Katies focus this year is on the JDay offroad series (womens class) where she is having a successful season so far! Brian DeVries (LDA, Vee Rubber track side man) helped introduce Katie to Vee Rubber tires and she has been a great addition to our Vee Rubber family! Katie uses the 300 both TACKEE and regular compound. I am happy to say the Vee Rubber 300 tackee tire has hooked up perfectly in the mud, rocks, over the roots and everything in between. In the NETRA series, Katie has raced in the following events, 7/13 Cherry Bomb, finished 14th; 7/20 Indian Ridge, Katie worked this event as her club hosted it; 7/27 Rocky Mountain, that weekend it poured rain and came Katie from dead last after a mechanical issue and made it up to 9th! 8/10 Richardsons Farm, Katie finished 7th and on 8/24 at Dam Good, she finished 9th! Her JDAY events this season have been on 6/29 Hunington, 2nd; 8/2 & 8/3 Hemonds, she went 1-2 both days taking 2nd overall both days! And 8/17, Rocky Hill, she worked this event. The next 10 weekends Katie will be packed with racing between NETRA and JDay, and GNCC @ Unadilla! Were happy to have her on our team!
