Tony has been to Damascus? But who will determine this, to go to the roots of where a false view of religion is being promulgated and will that encompass the hordes of evangelical Christians who colonise third world nations seeking recruits for the ever expanding empires? Who is to say what is a false view, particularly someone like Tony Blair who so feared being seen to be a Roman Catholic that he held off his conversion until he had left the PM job? Is this just a coded Christian message against Islam? Does it include Jewish extremists? Are Buddhists in there along with Sikhs? the purpose should be to change the policy of governments; to start to treat this issue of religious extremism as an issue that is about religion as well as politics, to go to the roots of where a false view of religion is being promulgated and to make it a major item on the agenda of world leaders to combine effectively to combat it. This is a struggle that is only just beginning.
