Too funny. A concerned Hancock county taxpayer just inquire if a local non-profit construction project was contracted locally, to which I informed him that it was NOT. Although there are several local non-profits that advocate the use if are taxpayer dollars to be used in the Ohio Valley. The non-profit immediately deleted my post that informed the concerned citizen, which is their right. However, it is also my right to no longer send large bags of animal food with both of my daughters when they are hit up at 4-H, Scouts, soccer and school activities. My comment was not to slight the organization that I have always supported, but to not keep taxpayers dumb and ignorant as is the practice of the county commission and a handful of police and other elected officials. Not knowing if the citizen ever got to see my post, I will msg him so he gets a truthful answer and stays informed.
