Too many numpties not enough road! They are trying to kill me! Heads for home on motorbike after a 12 hour night shift. Around 10 miles into journey I come over the crest of a hill to find a 4 wheel drive on my side of the road. Said numpty in 4 wheel drive is attempting to overtake a line of cars and is currently alongside a small white van. I start to slam on brakes, has a two fold effect on a big cruiser, does not stop it right away but starts to swing the back end around to meet the front. Said numpty in 4 wheel drive also starts to slam on his brakes in the hope of being able to pull back over. Driver of white van though panics and slams his brakes on at the same time, said numpty in 4 wheel drive has nowhere to go apart from straight into me. Im about a nano second from dropping the bike in front of me in the hope it will take the brunt of the crash rather than me. Said numpty though in 4 wheel drive snatches his steering wheel to the right sending his car through hedge at side of the road. In the meantime as he disappears off the road altogether Im now desperately trying to keep the bike upright and stopping it from throwing me off. I manage to get it stopped some 100 feet from where the 4 wheel drive made a new gate in the hedge and not far from the white van. I get off bike, driver gets out of van and we run over to the gap followed by about three other people from other cars. Said numpty in 4 wheel drive is getting out of his car some 2 to 300 feet into the field he has driven into, back of his car is sat low and it looks like he has snapped his back axle. I shouts if he is OK, said numpty just nods, is shout back, By the way, your a dickhead! Looks back at white van driver and says its his own fault and as far as Im concerned he can sort himself out, with that everyone gets back into their cars, I get back on the bike and we leave said numpty in the field. Im now sat at home, Harry is snoring next to me and Im having a coffee before I go to bed trying to get rid of the anger I now have :
