"Too many people in America today are wiling to throw away their constitutional and human rights because of an unreasoning, unbalanced and unintelligent fear of the future and the actions of terrorists. We always have to protect ourselves from the encroaching power of our own government just as much as actions of overseas enemies. It does no good at all to protect ourselves from terrorists if we allow a dictatorship to take hold in America itself and BOTH Bush and Obama administrations have advanced way to far in the direction of dictatorship in term of secret laws, secret courts, detention without trial and summary executions. Wake up, America, you are in danger from your so called protectors as well as from external enemies. Edward Snowden is a patriot who blew the whistle on previously unknown and outrageous mass surveillance of the people by the government.
