Too often, I feel like Black Men, particularly those who arent in - TopicsExpress

Too often, I feel like Black Men, particularly those who arent in the spotlight for being wordsmiths or lyricists yet are some of the most talented brothas out there, dont receive their just due publicly and positively. That was the premise behind me putting this show together. I wanted to show everyone that these men who have LIVED, whove struggled, fought, risen, and survived, yet still stand tall, proud, unapologetic, honest, and real, deserve just as much praise as the ones in the boardrooms, arena, pavilions, courts, and fields. This show isnt about the ones who ARENT being showcased though...its about the ones who are. And trust and believe me when I tell you that each and every one of them will leave you with a piece of them forever etched into your soul when they step off the mic. Dont miss this epic event. Its way more than just another spoken word show. Much appreciation to Harold Desmond for agreeing to open up the show and for Bo Live, Jay Rich, Keef Brown, Khabral Muhammad, and Imhotep Ali for allowing their souls to be placed on display this Sunday night. You cannot afford to miss this....
