Took a newbie hiker to Rattlesnake & I did my 1st fasted 20 min interval cardio. Alfred started incorporating it instead of doing the usual 45 or 60 min. cardio show prep. This is his results in 3 weeks. A fellow hiker said that our interval hiking was better than his steady pace and told me about a PBS documentary from a doctor in Britain. For research purposes, they only did 20 seconds interval of cardio.. we do 1 minute. Keep in mind, this documentary is regarding cardio not shaping and strenthening muscles.
