Tool Room / Tool & Die Maintenance Executive - 5 NOS. Diploma in Tool & Die with above 2 to 3 years Experience in the Tool Rooms & Tool & Die Maintenance / Press Tools Experience will be preferable The tool room attendant is responsible for an expensive inventory of tools and production equipment in an organization. The attendant must keep track of the location of each tool in the organization and make sure that there are sufficient resources available for the production floor. Job Duties Attendants issue tools to production department by requisition or work order router. The tools are recorded manually or with a computer. A tool room attendant delivers the tools to the production area. Tool crib attendants receive new tools into the company and store them in the tool room. Attendants requisition new tools as needed. The attendant cleans and maintains the tools stored in the tool crib. The worker performs an inventory of the tools in the storage room and prepares inventory reports for the supervisor. A tool room attendant investigates and searches for missing tools from the tool crib. The tool room attendant must be familiar with various tools and their repair and maintenance.
