Topic:- Let no man determine your fate And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And God granted him that which he requested. Ichr4:9-10 This passage is very common place in the bible,nearly every pastor talked about this man. Jabez,which mean son of sorrow,as his mother called him,no one knows the sorrowful things that accompany his birth,but his mother said she bore him in pain. Everybody believed he has chose the path he will follow all his life. There is no one who has good thing to say about him. His brothers were honourable,they were blessed but they never knew him with what they have,they dont want his fate to affect their lives. But one day he made up his mind and disagree with what people says about him. He therefore took step that change his life forever. 1. Right from his heart,he reject the wrong tagged. 2. He took the right step 3. He acted in faith 4. He turned to God,for his turn to come. By faith Jabez,change his fate,and became more honourable than his brothers. I may not know what people had said to your life,or what stickers your background had pasted you. But what anyone says does not determine your life. Your destiny is documented in the volume of His book - Ps40:7-8. Believe it and it will come to pass. Come unto Him who is able to do more than you can ever ask or think. Eph3:20. With him good change is possible. Lk1:37. Your life is in the hand of God,not in the hand of any man. Anybody can say anything they like about you,it is God word alone that count. Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? Lam3:37. Every word that is not of God over your life is nullified IJN,I love U.
