Topic: Compliance to servant hood Text: John 2:5 “His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” Introduction: In order to comply with a master’s directive we need to; accept his challenge, Adjust according to his Command and happily commit ourselves unto fulfilling the task ahead of us. Using Bible examples let us learn of compliance!! I. Accept His challenge!!! Luke 5:5-6 “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” II. Adjust according to His command!!! John 21:3 “Simon Peter saith unto them, I go fishing. They say unto him, we also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.” III. Amend your attitudes by happily committing oneself in fulfilling a task!!! Luke 22:32 “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Conclusions Genuine Love directs compliance to master’s bidding ; resolve to face challenges with courage , hope for the best in God’s commands and practice faith in unfailing faith in God.
