Totally and completely at a loss. Seems like not many people are networking the bigger dogs at OC any more. Dogs are posted and re-posted for weeks, sometimes longer - with no action. There are minimal comments, very few shares, barely any pledges on the threads. And then the dog is EUTH LISTED and, more often than not, end up being PTS. And then - people are outraged. But by that time, its too late. Of course the solution to the bigger problem is to stop these dogs from ending up in the shelter to begin with - but until we figure that out....what about the dogs that end up in the shelter through no fault of their own? Are we just to sit back and let them dwindle away, wasting their days in a kennel until their number is called and they are taken for their last walk? Come on. There are several big dogs on the Euth list right now.
