Totally believe experience is much more useful than confining children into a room, facing straight forward and dying of boredom...listening to a teacher ramble. There were very few that I actually enjoyed, who worked to captivate you. Now, with phones, ipads etc...I can only imagine the level of distraction! I learned more going out & seeing/doing things than I did in a classroom. This isnt a bad idea! Just my opinion, no offense to the teachers out there. Not everyone fits the classroom setting.
