Totally rough spew on paper, but with some work, theres something there I think.... A slow day he ordered a jr cheese burger and a fried chicken sandwich for his wife, asking us to scrape off the breading because she left her teeth at home and cant chew it. He shows me the new hundred dollar bill and tells how if its run through a copier the blue strip of ink explodes destroying both the bill and machine. He says Obama wants to take in god we trust off of our currency, off of the walls of businesses, I to old him if that were true, he would have done something about chick filet by now, and they havent. He says what the federal government wants, the federal government gets, and they want him to believe in his country, but not in god, and he spent just four days in nam, when his childhood friend removed his bandana to wipe his brow, and a sniper pierced his skull, and he was splattered. That was all those years ago and he cant shake those nightmares, so he does not believe in his government, and they dont want him to believe in god, but god is what got him through. I say Im so sorry sir, my dad was a veteran too, he never talked about it, but he came home and drank himself to death. He tells me he tried.... And I. Can only tell him that these walls should read god bless you, our veterans.
