Toxoid from Delhi, India is the latest black metal band to propagate its art in its own vision. Disregarding modern conventions, the band veers towards the Scandinavian style of black art, incorporating melodies not at the expense of true malice. This is reminiscent of early Pest-era Gorgoroth, Black Witchery, Naglfar and Dark Funeral. Its only as chaotic as it is necessary to express the feelings, but the music is underpinned by suitable breaks and melodic shades to lend the proceedings a contrast that is replicated by the artwork.
