Traci wrote..I need advice on a pin locking system. I just got a new leg on Thursday and I tried to wear it for the full day today...lots of problems! It is over 100 degrees here in AZ today and my leg sweated so bad from the liner that I thought my leg was going to come out of the liner. Also, my foot seems to be turning inward. I added a silver liner hoping to absorb some of the sweat but I am not sure what is causing the foot to turn inward. This is my first time wearing this type of system and today had been a very discouraging day. I am also having trouble adjusting to the articulated ankle. It is like learning to walk all over again! I hate to go backward but there is no way I can wear this new leg to work tomorrow. I am seeing my prosthetist Thursday and I was hoping to be adjusted to the new leg by then. Words of wisdom from any pin lock wearers out there would be appreciated.
