#Tradition My Friends: I said I would draw someone else, so here he is! Sweeney Todd. I’ve been wanting to draw him for a long time but I always found a reason not to. But I’m glad I have now because I have learn’t lots of new skills J This drawing is from the scene where Todd get’s to see his ‘friends’ again. Listen to the song here: youtube/watch?v=a72KYM… When I was drawing I kept thinking I should have drawn it on black paper because of all the black pencil I used. But it would never have looked the same. I think the reason I chose this screen-cap of him is because to me, it reflects all of his emotions (listen to the song to get the full effect) there’s happiness, pain, vengeance and the realization of how damaged and evil he has become. Johnny Depp plays Sweeney Todd in this amazing musical directed by Tim Burton.
