Traffic Planner Smart Solutions Recruitment Ltd - Bridgend An established and growing Logistics company are looking for experienced Traffic Planners to join their team in Bridgend. Duties and Responsibilities: De-brief with Network Planning Supervisor. Control and ensure all Customer Collections are completed. Confirm all vehicle service/inspections are covered and confirm with Fleet Maintenance. Plan Network Trunks, ensuring all outgoing consignments have driver cover and that incoming consignments are covered, minimising any empty legs to and from any Network Operation. Update and create all Network Trunk Manifest requirements. Save and file Soft Copies of all trunk outgoing movements for the Supervisor and GM, sending daily. Ensure all paperwork is allocated correctly for each individual outgoing trunk. De-Brief all late returning Network Drivers. Manage the departure times of the trunks to the required schedule. Complete a trunk timetable handover report for the General Night Planner, to forward to the Network Planning Supervisor daily. Pre Plan work for allocation and loading for Held Consignments and arrange relevant driver cover and start times. Confirm expected ETA of returning trunks. Liaise with General Night Planner for Early Morning Trailer Swap Completion. Prepare a Handover for the Network Planning Supervisor.
