Traffic advice: Motorists travelling citybound on General Holmes Drive via the Airport Tunnel are advised to allow additional travel time following an accident involving a car, caravan and a truck. The accident continues to block two of four citybound lanes and one of four outbound lanes. Traffic is slowly able to pass the incident in both directions using two of four citybound lanes and three of four outbound lanes. Citybound traffic is queued back around 3km into the M5 East main tunnel. Emergency services remain on site conducting a complex recovery to remove a truck which is also wedged on the center concrete median. Once this vehicle has been removed all lanes will be reopened. Motorists travelling on General Holmes Drive via the Airport Tunnel are advised to exercise caution and expect significant delays.
