Training Classes being offered at Rockwall Animal Adoption Center! Details are below: Classes will start next Saturday the 28th @ 2:00 and go to 3:30. We will have 4 sessions - each Saturday for 4 weeks in a row. Hopefully it will be nice and we can work outside but if need be the shelter has a small conference room we can use. Please bring your dogs ON LEASH and bring YUMMY treats (not hard cookies) to work with. Also, either email me or bring a copy of your shot records for me to see. The total cost is $100 for the series of classes and is due at first session. If you do have to miss a class I can offer a make up session at some point but it might not be on a Saturday. I do not allow hitting dogs AT ALL. I also do not allow prong collars, slip chains, shock collars or retractable leashes in class. If this is all you have then let me know and I will give you something else to borrow and discuss other options. Have FUN with your dog! The tentative schedule is: Week 1: Intro to marker word, "look", "sit", "release", "down, and discuss jumping, nipping, chewing and housetraining if needed Week 2: Intro to Loose Leash Walking and to Leave it Week 3: Intro to STAY, and COME.
