Training session “New Procedures for State Registration of Rights to Real Estate - 2014”, Kyiv oblast On April 7, the Resource Center for Land Rights established by the Land Union of Ukraine with support from the USAID AgroInvest Project’s hеld a training seminar entitled “New Procedures for State Registration of Rights to Real Estate – 2014” in Obukhiv, Kyiv oblast. The seminar coverед the following issues: • Innovations introduced by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 17, 2013 “On Approval of the Procedure for State Registration of Rights to Real Estate and Encumbrances Thereon and Procedure for Providing Information from the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate”; • Specific aspects of the state registration of derivative rights as of February 11, 2014; • Methods for submission of documents for registration; • Procedures for the state registration of a land plot if state act on ownership right to the land plot is lost, defected or damaged; • Procedures for registration of state and communal ownership rights to land plots; • Procedures for receiving information from the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate. The training was attended by primary and secondary legal aid providers, representatives from local state authorities and local self-governments, and representatives of NGOs. The event updated the invitees on the latest changes in the legislation regulating state registration of rights to real estate.
