Tramboo castigates IHK puppet admin for imposing curfew Brussels, July 20 (KMS): The Chairman of International Council for Human Rights, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo has castigated the puppet administration for imposing curfew and restrictions. They said that such tactics could not suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their liberation struggle. Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo in a statement issued in Brussels said that it was the height of oppression that, on one hand, they were responsible for the discretion of holy Quran and, on the other, it was irony that they killed unarmed and peaceful demonstrators Terming the statement of the IG, BSF, as ridiculous in which he had said that the use of force was as self- defence to stop the protesters from causing harm. It is the routine rhetoric statement issued by the Indian armed forces following such tragic incidents, he added. Castigating the authorities over their response soon after the incident took place, Tramboo said that after the brutal incident and the protest, mobile and Internet access had been shut down and a curfew had been imposed almost in the entire Kashmir. The Kashmiri pro-freedom leadership has either been detained in their homes or arrested. How this government can justify these suppressive moves, he deplored. Commenting on the apathy of Kashmiris Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo said that Kashmir has suffered constant conflicts with the Indian forces and repeated curfews, which continued to rob the people of Kashmir their right to freedom and self-determination. He appealed the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon and other responsible ones from the international community to take stock of the situation in occupied Kashmir
