Transformation.... From the beginning of time the world was slow to transform. Sometime around 1900 a change fell upon the earth. We as humans began to expand our knowledge, to invent and perfect. Lights, cars, airplanes, household comfort, telephones, space travel, mobile phones, tv, computers then the internet faster and faster and they predict a time in the near future an event known as singularity, when a computer can think and write its own code solve its on problems as fast as the human brain.... So why in the 6000 years of recorded history has the last 100 or so years seen such a explosion of innovation and knowledge. I believe it is a type of outpouring that was reserved for the last days. There is now no excuse to learn about Christ. The internet can pull up scripture in a flash, you can drive in an hour what would have took a day to go to church, you can sit in comfort while hearing the word. In the last days there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and of knowledge of Christ. We really have no reason not to read, listen to in person or in several different ways the scriptures. There is no excuse to not have the biblical knowledge of what would have been called a scholar 200-300 years ago. But yet we dont take advantage of the innovations God has delivered to man in these last days. We should be ashamed. But for every innovative creation satan has figured 3x as many distractions to turn us from the purpose. And evil is slick, the scriptures tells us to not be deceived by every wind of doctrine. And the internet is filled with good sounding, uplifting teachers and religious web sites as is the tv, radio, and even some fly by night churches. We must be grounded so the Holy Spirit might separate the wheat from the chafe. But be deligent and seek the truth. There is a reason for this explosion of knowledge and God is behind all things. I feel time draws short and we must be prepared and in this day and age there is no excuse left. Souls will perish and I dont wont to face God and try to explain why I was watching football on my 60 tv in my air conditioned home petting my dog and drinking ice tea while there are people on my Facebook friends list that are going to hell.
