Transparent moment: After 24 years of traveling by plane not more than three hours, on purpose, I have a new appreciation for stepping out of my comfort zone. We may be still saved but put ourselves in a box. We are not living the full life God wants us to live. We are guarded and bound. For me, this was flying. It may be something else for you... After years of praying about it but not clearing seeking resolve, my daughter Quinn PrettyLady Walker, helped me to see myself. She explained to me how God feels when I trust Him for one thing but dont trust Him for another. She explained how I was being short sighted by focusing more on flying and how uncomfortable I felt than the joy and excitement Id have once Ive arrived at my destination. She also taught me to learn some coping mechanisms to make the time pass instead of just sitting with my eyes closed praying the whole way. I sat in expectation of turbulence.... I wasnt afraid of crashing but of discomfort during turbulence. I was basically wasting time when I could be doing something else. I should continue to pray, of course, but relax in Him and get busy doing something else.... This can be applied to other things that have us bound. Im free today and it feels good! Sorry for the long post but maybe it can help someone else. If not, it gives accountability and testifies even more of what God can and will do!
