Trauma...it can have an awful effect on you!! Like people with PTSD...I have had this a few times in my life that effected me in a way that changed me FOREVER! When I was 10 my dad had a hunting buddy( I wont use his name) who died of a heart attack! I had sit on this mans lap one time but he was not someone I was close to! When dad went to the funeral home for some reason (Idk why) I went with him and I cried for days over this mans death and to this day every time I have to go I relive the trauma of it!!! when my dad had a heart attack in the early 90s I had anxiety attacks for years and even got a stranger on the side of the road to drive me to the ER once when I was having chest pains! YES I know!!! You think the girl needs help!! (This is a known fact!) lol Any way I said all that to say Trauma can mess you up! Last night my dad had a bout with his sugar diabetes! His sugar went really low and he was OFF the deep end! slurred speech, yelling and slightly combative! I had to call my siblings and an ambulance!!! He was in a bad way! I had no sleep all night nor have I today b/c of the trauma of it all! I will be ok after I process it all but it sure made me think of some dear friends who really battle PTSD from some really bad bad bad Trauma! God be with them and help them to heal! and send them friends who understand their battle!
