Travelers Three men were traveling in rural America when their car - TopicsExpress

Travelers Three men were traveling in rural America when their car suddenly died. They sought shelter at the nearest farmhouse. The farmer had only two spare single beds, not counting his daughter’s. Because of all the stories he’d heard, he informed the men that one of them would have to sleep in the barn. One, a very polite Hindu physician, immediately volunteered. A short time later, however, the farmer answered a knock on the door. The Hindu apologetically explained that there were cows in the barn and, because of his religious convictions, he didn’t think he could stay there. The second man, a conservative rabbi, said he’d go. A little later, he too was back, explaining that, since there was a pig in the barn, it was not kosher for him to sleep there. The third traveler, an impeccably-dressed, successful lawyer, stated he could resolve this dilemma simply because he had no such crippling convictions. He proceeded judiciously out to the barn. Within a few minutes, loud banging was heard at the door. When the farmer went to answer it, there stood the cows and the pig.
