Travelling down to TSS always provides a great challenge and yesterday was no different. After a disrupted week of training and countless personnel changes across a number of teams, the TGS lads knew we were going to have to put our best foot forward. Part and parcel of playing in the GPS competition is having the ability to adjust to factors such as injury, illness and travel. All schools encounter these issues at some stage in the season, and it is often a test of character, commitment and preparation as to who responds best to these challenges on the day. While most games were very competitive, TSS enjoyed the better of the day and should be commended on their performances. A number of games were decided by only a few points with the 1st XV, 2nd XV, 16A, 16C, 16 Blue, 15B, 15 Blue, 14A and 10A all involved in very exciting encounters. We now look forward to the final round against Nudgee College on Friday, 19 September at TGS.
