Tried to go out with a friend tonight, but ended up getting all dirty instead. My car wouldnt start, so I tried all I know to do. I added coolant and oil. I opened both fuse boxes and checked my starter and fuel pump fuses, none of which were blown (always keep a pair of tweezers in your car ladies - pluck those stray brows in a hurry and have the easiest way to pull out and replace fuses right there). I cleaned the corrosion off of my battery connectors and terminals (you just pour a little bit of coke on the place where you put your jumper cables ladies, the little nubs that stick out of your battery with the plus and minus signs, then flush with water). Still no luck. It turns over sometimes, but mainly the lights just come on and the engine just clicks once and its done. All of my internal and external lights work and dont dim when I try to start it. I think its the starter. My mechanics out there, what do you think? And how hard is it to change that out yourself? I drive a 2000 Isuzu Amigo 5speed. If that matters at all. Help!! :(
