Trinity was in no doubt as to whom the culprit was this time; it was Kevin doing the late night booze run! Although her dad had been to Marmaris on more than several occasions over the years, this was Kevin’s first visit. After making the discovery that the local shop sold red wine for around £2.50 a bottle, it was like a new lease of life for him. However the cleaning lady now refused to enter the apartment if Kevin was in, after suffering several drunken marriage proposals and a high amount of indecent touching! She heard Ahmet’s car pull up outside, he had, no doubt arrived back from the airport with Chrissy. When Chrissy’s at home in England she is plain old Peter; A 50 something police officer with a wife and grown up daughter! Once a year when his wife thinks he is on a fishing holiday, he smashes open the chrysalis and Chrissy emerges like a rare butterfly. As Trinity drifted towards sleep she had mental pictures of Chrissy dressed as Carmen Miranda, whilst Kevin was doing the limbo in his green trunks. Trinity made a mental note to herself….. “I had better lay off the pear cider”.
