Trish gave me the number 8...couple days ago...but I’m a procrastinator sooo...here I go. Here are eight outrageous and truthful tidbits about me. Like this status and I will send you a number. 1. My passion is my love for Theatre and History. At this time I am still actively working as a lighting designer and operator for our local theatre and have participated in over 300 productions since ‘98. I was also interested in the past ever since I can remember, especially Medieval History and have always considered myself a true Lady ( well maybe in my past life *wink). I majored in Archeology at University and switched majors to Theatre. They are both still very important to me. 2. I have had too many near death experiences early in my life. When I was 12 I got blood poison (and only because my guardian angel told me to tell my mom am I alive today). At 15 I was attacked by a pack of wild dogs, at 19 I got lost in the Tallahassee, FL wilderness, at 20 I got rolled over by a car, at 21 I had a 10 “ mutton hook stuck in my leg, at 23 I lived through the Cat 5 Hurricane Floyd… the list goes on. I still consider myself lucky tho. I just have dumb Albury luck. LOL! 3. I am very independent and HATE for people to tell me what to do. If you want a fight…go ahead…demand I do something I don’t want to or agree to. I’ll fight you tooth and nail! 4. I have met a number of famous persons including Jimmy Buffet, NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, Huey Lewis, Cyndi Lauper, Sir Sydney Poitier, my favourite mouseketeer Jennifer McGill and I was pen pals with Stacy ‘Fergie’ Ferguson (Black Eyed Peas) since I was 12 yeas old. How about that! 5. When I was in elementary and high school I was teased along with my twin Hillary Ann for everything. Being too sweet, too fat, too happy, too whatever and I was a bit of an invert. Yes, me. When I got to college though I became involved in everything (clubs, groups… many different projects) and found my voice. I became the strong willed, knowledgeable and open-minded person I am today. 6. I am still afraid of the dark. Correction, the ‘things’ in the dark, at the delight of my family. Including my siblings who terrify me at any chance they get. I believe in ghosts/spirits, zombies and aliens. 7. I am neither humble nor modest…and am definitely not shy. This personality trait has both blessed and hindered me. Did you know I was a published poet? No, well you just learned of one more accomplishment I can boast about. *wink 8. I was married once and engaged 3 times! My ex-husband was an abusive SOB and I foolishly let someone control me. Never again! I have a tendency to sacrifice my happiness for others. Recently though I have finally realized my true value & worth and would rather be alone then with someone who can’t accept me for who I am…priceless. Still very much the romantic tho and am hopeful to find my prince one day. Thats all folks!
