Trooper Patrick Haynes recently returned from deployment. While he was away, like many Troopers that are deployed for the military, he needed assistance on many occasions with State Police Human Resources issues. Trooper Haynes was very thankful to Linda Turner and William McCarthy for their efforts for him and all deployed members of the State Police. Trooper Haynes had two flags flown over the Pentagon in honor of both Linda Turner and William McCarthy. Today, Trooper Haynes presented each of them with their flag and a certificate for each of them, certifying those flags were flown over the Pentagon on July 10, 2013 in their honor. The State Police does not always get to recognize or honor our civilian staff that makes our day to day operations possible, especially with the hardship of being deployed.
