Tropical Storm Barry is expected to make landfall this morning with the center crossing the coastline of southern Mexico just northwest of the city of Veracruz. Tropical storm conditions are occurring over the coast in the warning area. The main threat continues to be the heavy rains that could cause significant flooding and mud slides over a large portion of southern Mexico.
