Troubles at the VA--Shinseki Is Out Today Secretary Shinseki resigned in shame from the Veterans Administration. The more we have uncovered about the VA federal government malfeasance, the more people got upset at the appalling way our veterans have been treated. In Congress I have voted for many programs to assist and benefit our veterans. But if the bureaucrats implementing these programs are incompetent, dishonest or corrupt, then the whole system fails. We will get to the bottom of this and I am seeking remedies to improve this. I believe veterans should be able to walk into any urgent care or other medical facility that they choose and get necessary treatment.
