True Rip: while in Iraq with Alpha 1/2 in the area know as the triangle of death it literally rained metal for damn near the entire deployment, and American holidays was even worse, when when we wasnt on a patrol or fob security we rested in cloth tents soaked in kerosene. Many men died while they was getting rest, writing letters home, watching helicopters fly your buddies of wounded or dead of was never fun and left most enraged in anger and ready to catch the next patrol in hopes of avenging there buddies death. Wrote my mom once, told her no news is good news. I was walking to the command post on day and we got a rocket attach. A rocket landed 3 feet away from me it didnt explode thank God it didnt go off I would of been hamburger meat literally. God wasnt ready for me to go yet which change the game of life for me, while I walk this earth I will live to the fullest and enjoy my short time doing what I wanna do even if it kills me. I refuse to live in fear of anything or any one. I can be sitting on the porch minding my business and death come for me so until the grim reaper knocks on my door to collect Im gonna be a big kid mad this world is my candy store
