True story of a somewhat scatalogical nature. If youre squeamish - TopicsExpress

True story of a somewhat scatalogical nature. If youre squeamish about such things, you are advised to stop reading now. Otherwise, Ill endeavor to keep it as mild as possible. Yesterday afternoon, while at work, I decided to drink a cup of hot tea (my first in a long time). I had several varieties stashed in my desk drawer, but the one that caught my eye was a soothing herbal mint offering from Yogi that was called Get Regular. (Some of you are laughing already...) The tea had a great flavor and, since there were a couple of extra packets in the drawer, I decided to take them home and enjoy some more later. I told my wife how tasty the variety was and offered to make her a cup later that evening. When she went up to put our daughter to bed, I brewed two more cups, and by the time my wife came back downstairs, I had finished my cup. In the meantime, I noticed we had a variety in the cupboard of Honey & Lemon Throat Comfort tea. As Angie had mentioned her throat had been feeling bad, I offered to brew her a cup of that instead, which she gladly accepted. (You may see where this is going) Not wanting to simply pour the other freshly brewed cup of Herbal Mint tea down the drain, I opted to enjoy my third cup of the day, then went to bed shortly afterward and enjoyed a full night of sleep with a belly full of hot tea. (dramatic music) Needless to say, this morning was quite eventful. Ill spare you the details except to remark that it reminded me of the time I ate two cans of alphabet soup for supper and had the largest vowel movement ever. In the aftermath of the inevitable, I found the carton in the cupboard and read the instructions: For a gentle and relaxing bowel movement, drink one cup before bedtime and it should occur between 6 and 8 hours later. Do not consume more than 4 cups in a 24 hour period. In my defense, there was no warning against consuming 3 cups in an 8 hour period, but allow me to elaborate. DO NOT CONSUME 3 cups in an 8 hour period, period! I genuinely hope my unfortunate circumstances have brought you joy, laughter and smiles. Enjoy a cup of hot tea today and dont neglect to read the box!
