Trust me its not that cold. The creek has been running through warm sunny weather for 50 miles! The water was up to my armpits in the narrowest part of the canyon. A great logjam barricades the whole entrance to the narrow gorge. The only way in is to climb over and over and under. Do a little balance beam routine and a little rock climbing with water below. Voila!On the other side is the ankle deep creek, narrow rocky edges where you can keep your feet dry for a minute. You wade along the twists and turns of the gorge, the steep walls towering above you with bright green moss and ferns. Close to the waterfall is a narrow place where the water is deep...but your reward is the beautiful waterfall with its amazing pool you can jump in to. Will he? Or wont he?
