Trusting in Him always! You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3, 4 Yes Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. Is. 26:8 (and I trust my house to hear Your voice according to Is.30:21) “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way Marie! this way Ricky! this way Sheila!; walk in it.” Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, (though we do) and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40:28,29 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Is. 40:31 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Is. 41:10 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Is. 43:2 (though it may get hot; we are not to live by feelings, but by faith in every word of God). As the rain, and the snow comes down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Is.55:10, 11 Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3 Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them. Hosea 14:9 A man of many companions my come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Prov. 18:24 Praise be to you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. Ps. 119:12-16 To all perfection I see a limit; but your commands are boundless. Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts. Ps. 119:96-100 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Ps. 119:105 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Prov. 14:12 All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart. Proverbs 21:2 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. Prov. 27:1 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” 1 Kings 18:21
