Truth of Grace.... What is provided to us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is irrevocable. If we think God cant be fully trusted then well hold Him at bay and never enter into the relationship that He has intended. God the perfect Father, Jesus and His Spirit will never leave us. If you are under teaching that tells you that security of your salvation is linked to your behavior and might be taken at any turn you are not getting the truth of the Gospel of Grace. Truth is that He is not changed because of our behavior, Good or Bad. Too many being taught to try and follow God are not able to do it because the God thats being presented is one that cant be trusted. The ones teaching this dont know the depth of His Grace. The message of Grace is Grace alone, not Grace plus works or else Christ died in vain. Many enjoy the freedom from the bondage that sin had on them through their salvation, only to have the bondage of rules placed right back on them by the religious system. Your salvation was not dependent on your behavior and neither is the security of that salvation. Salvation is a gift from a faithful Father who longs for intimacy with the ones He created, so when we agree with the relationship, its a done deal. Be faithful to return love to Him because He loves you, not because you are trying to keep Him happy or make sure He keeps loving you. He is Love and we can not change that even if we misbehave or even fail to show our love for Him. I have chosen to be optimistic about the depth of His Grace rather than skeptical. I can only judge what I see and my vision is limited but the Father sees in fullness, so why not just be positive and believe that He is better than He has been represented to the world by the religious system. Actually I dont only believe by faith, I also believe by my experience of the goodness He has shown me. Understanding the truth of Grace mixed with your faith and experience will cause you to love the Father in the purest way. Jesus Loves You Cody Custer
