Trying to bring more clarity.... Im no fan of Hamass leadership. Im seldom impressed by any of the Arab leaders ability to lead with clear vision! Hamas firing rockets at Israels civilians is terrible. Hamas teaching their children to hate is deplorable. There is no clear good guy and bad guy in this conflict. And of course I believe Israel has a right to exist in security and peace - just like any other country on the planet. Like the Palestinians do. But its the theological issue that so many western Christians have bought into that troubles me. To equate this nation as Gods will for his chosen people and then give them greater license than anyone else, is exactly what the early Europeans did with Manifest Destiny and the founding of America while killing the natives. Horrible stuff. Lets just be theologically clear as to where this leads.
