Trying to cut the grains out of your diet? Well good on you! but Fried rice is a kind of nice memory so here is how you do it Paleo style ( or just grain free for those not into Paleo!) Get a whole cauliflower and if you are lucky enough to have a thermomix then break it up into florets and put it all into the bowl and Reverse speed for 5 sec speed 4 ish. Check if it is about the size of rice grains and if it is then put to one side. If you dont have a thermomix then simply grate it or use a food processor to achieve the same result. To create you Cauliflower Rice Dice - 1 onion 1 carrot 1 stick celery 1-2 cloves of garlic 1 capsicum Chorizo sausages slice and diced ( or whatever protein takes your fancy really) Ghee or coconut oil for cooking Tamari to taste ( or coconut amines if you can get it) Saute off the onion in the ghee or coconut oil till soft and translucent then add your protein. When cooked then add the remaining vegetables ( be creative - add whatever veggies you like) Continue to cook for a few minutes until softened slightly. Finally add the cauliflower rice and cook a further 4-5 minutes. Flavour with the tamari and enjoy! If you are into chilli then ad some chilli and garlic when sautéing the onions
