Trying to keep everyone updated but it is a very scary and hectic time for us. It appears that Paul did not have a heart attack but that his artificial valve is failing, he needs a bypass and his aortic artery has damage.Surgeons are meeting with other surgical teams Wednesday to discuss the best options. It is considered a high risk surgery. He is very short of breath but his kidneys have improved. They are now trying to get his hemoglobin up as his white cell count is high. Going for another test on Monday to access the damage to his artery . Ill try and post what I know for all of you who know us and are wondering.
