Tucked in the center of the short 3 parts of Titus is a treasure to be found :) *Titus 2* I love finding these simple truths that are jam-packed with guidance, prayers and hope! I recommend searching Titus 2 yourself but here is a super quick break down: *Older men: reverent, worthy of respect, self controlled, sound in faith, love and endurance. *Older women: reverent, not slanderers or addicted to much wine, models of goodness *Younger women: love their husbands and children, self controlled and pure, keep a good house, be kind, be good wives *Younger men: self controlled, disciplined lives, integrity, soundness of speech Pray these words over your spouse, your children and your self. Put them where you can see them as a daily reminder. We are to teach the next generation by our living example. But are we handing down the right virtues? If youre careful in reading youll find the world teaches the complete opposite. The life we are to live is simple and written plainly in His Word. Christ offered himself as a sacrifice to free us from a dark, rebellious life so that we may have a life that is good and pure (v.14). Do not compromise. Do not conform. Live by the grace that brings salvation, lead by example a life that is holy and pleasing to our God!
