Tuesday, 30th September YOU ARE THE FAVORED IN CHRIST! “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12) As a child of God you are blessed, and one of the effects of the blessing is that it produces favor, thus you are also favored! You were born into a life of favor. The Bible says, “For thou Lord will bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12). Now that you have come into the kingdom, God has planned for you to walk in His favor every day. To be favored means to be delightsome, preferred and treasured. It means to be desirable, pleasurable and acceptable. That means you are a delight to God, you are His preferred choice, His treasure. His favor has made you acceptable, and that’s why people accept and prefer you wherever you go. If there was an opportunity, your name will always emerge first, because you are the favored of the Lord. When God favors a man, men will always favor him too. And a favored man can never be disadvantaged in life. That’s why I always say, “you can never be disadvantaged” Hallelujah! The Bible says that not only are you favored but God has surrounded you with favor as with a shield. Amazing! That means on every side you are hemmed in and protected by the favor of the Lord. That’s why you should never welcome thoughts of rejection. You are the favored of God. Let that favor multiply and spread in your life, by being thankful to the Lord and by favoring the spread of the gospel and the well-being of others. Learn to accept and welcome other people, and keep sowing seeds of favor because you are the favored of the Lord! Hallelujah! Confession: I’m a favored child of the favor-God. I am acceptable, preferable and indispensable in my world because God has made me a solution to my generation. For the Lord has blessed me, and compassed me with favor as a shield. So I am greatly blessed and deeply favored. And I walk always in this consciousness. Halleluiah! Further Insight: Psalm 35:27; Ephesians 1:3 Study Plan: 2 Samuel 10-13
