Tuesday, 6th January 2015. Tena koutou katoa, te Whanau o Te Atua, The FOOL has said in his heart, There is no god [Psalms. 53:1] David wrote this, and we ALL need to understand just WHO God is! Simple question - how can you worship God, in ALL TRUTH, and ALL SINCERITY, unless you KNOW WHO GOD REALLY IS?! The very 1st Commandment [Exodus 20:3] DEMANDS that we know WHO HE IS ..... otherwise we COULD be worshipping a FALSE GOD! The God of the Bible/Paipera Tapu said - Let US make man in OUR IMAGE, after OUR likeness [Genesis 1:26] He WASNT talking to Himself! God is OBVIOUSLY more than ONE person. The Hebrew word here is ELOHIM - a uni-plural - meaning (in this case) ONE GOD, but meaning more than ONE PERSON. Churchianity (in the main) teaches that God is a TRINITY! That is, God, (the Father), God, (the Son, or Jesus Christ as we knew Him from Scripture) .... AND the Holy Spirit, - that God is ONE, but consists of THREE separate PERSONS! I confess, - I was taught this as a new Christian; I followed the teachings of the Church I was in ..... I know better now! The whole idea of the Trinity came out of Egypt, and careful study of the Scriptures show NO SUCH THING; the Church of Rome adopted this theory, and continue to run with it even though there is NO SCRIPTURE to suggest that the Holy Spirit is (in fact) a person who is part of the God-head. The Book of John holds the key .... Read - In the beginning WAS THE WORD, and the Word was WITH GOD, And the Word WAS GOD. The SAME was in the beginning WITH GOD .... and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father,) full of grace and truth [John 1:1-2, 14] The God-Head comprises of TWO SEPARATE BEINGS; FATHER and SON! NOWHERE (in Scripture) does the Bible/Paipera Tapu show that the Holy Spirit is a third person in the God-Head. Check it out - PROVE IT! [John 3:16] - the most known Scripture from the Bible, (even by non-believers) says VERY CLEARLY that God (the Father) GAVE (or allowed) His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, - NOT ONE OF HIS SONS .... Do you see that?! As I said earlier, the Trinity idea came from Egypt, and was carried on by the counterfeit Church - (The Church of Rome). A lot to take in; more tomorrow .... Blessings.
