Tuesdays primary election had the lowest voter participation across Florida since 1998. Not sure that the public understands that they are opting out of one of the most important responsibilities we have as citizens of this country. These smaller elections determine - among other things - the quality of our schools and our judicial system - some pretty important areas. Tuesdays elections ordained who decides whether our children go to jail or not, whether they can read or not. Cant let it go folks. So sad and disappointed about the level of our disengagement.
